Event Summary:
On Oct. 16, 2025, the event began with a welcome by the C.I.E., welcoming students to try some coffee, hot chocolate, and other snacks that were available that day. Shortly after, a group of students each sat down at a table with a pumpkin to get ready to start pumpkin carving.
Dr. Mary Ellen Daniloff-Merrill, a professor in the English department, went over instructions on how to carve a pumpkin.
After she had finished, the students began carving their pumpkins. Creating their own designs, which were judged at the end to determine the winners.
The three winners were: the Hello Kitty pumpkin, the 3-dimensional pumpkin with ears and a nose, and the angry-faced pumpkin.
