The SMSU English Club hosted a recent student reading in Charter Hall 217.
Six English major students read. Dan Kilkelly, a senior Creative Writing major, read two poems. Rob Wedl, a senior Creative Writing major, read a short fiction story. Kim Watkins, a senior Literature and
Professional Writing major, read a short non-fiction story about traveling in the Black Hills, as well as a poem. Kevin Heimermann, a junior in the Creative Writing program, read a short fiction story.
Samantha Lemmerman, a senior Creative Writing major, read a non-fiction piece about horse riding as well as a poem about the SMSU print quota. Jon Heimer, a Professional Writing and Creative Writing double-major, read six poems.
The reading took place in CH 217, a common place for student readings hosted by English Club, at seven pm.
