The annual Resident’s life carnival was held this past Thursday, April 17th. This event showcased twenty-four clubs and organizations on campus to help with out.
It was hosted in the upper conference center and offered many games and activities for students to engage in. Such as, Dart poker, Memory, and Klask.
The event drew in a lot of students and many people were talking about it. A lot of people looked forward to this event. It gave students a chance to interact with people that they don’t typically see on campus.
This event was a highlight because it brought excitement to campus before the end of the semester and was enjoyed by many students. It was good to see people participate and they got to see some of the clubs that SMSU offers, like the Sociology Club and Criminal Justice Club.
This event encouraged people to get involved in more clubs, and to show that there is a lot happening on campus. It brought a lot of students who don’t normally participate in Resident Life activities.
It gave the campus a good energy. People were having fun and playing games, which made it easier for the people who were running it.
I am glad to participate in the carnival and hope that more people join clubs in the coming years.
