If you’re a guy and you’re looking for a good place to drain the main vein, you’ve probably discovered that Southwest Minnesota State University has some good restrooms and some not so good.
Of course, the Conference Center and Student Center have the nicest, since that’s the first things our guests see when they check out the school. We have to look nice to the outside world. But what happens when you delve into the darker depths of campus, to those with less foot traffic?
I went on a journey to discover the best and worst bathrooms on campus. In my travels, I found several sub-par peeing locations, and some surprisingly nice ones. For instance, the ones in the Science and Math building that you pass on the way to the Social Science building, are unique with their oddly shaped sinks. Then there are some less-than-amazing ones.
The worst men’s bathroom on campus has to be the one on first floor of Charter Hall. It’s essentially a closet, with barely enough room for its sink-urinal-stall trio. There is, however, a mysterious door in said bathroom. It’s always locked and the window is covered in paper. It’s a mystery that lies behind the door, although it’s probably just an ordinary janitor’s closet…
The best men’s bathroom on campus, other than the CC and SC ones, has to be the one on the first floor of the Individualized Learning Center.
It’s spacious, and has plenty of real estate: three stalls, three sinks, and three urinals. But the thing that wins the crown for this bathroom has to be the urinals. They don’t flush individually. Instead, there is a single lever that flushes all three, with a chain attached. It’s kind of a waste of water unless you want to bring two buddies along to tinkle, but the sheer awesomeness earns it the title of best men’s bathroom on campus.
