I’m guessing most of you are sick of hearing about Justin Bieber. He’s rude to fans, ridiculously full of himself, and in recent weeks has been caught with drugs on multiple occasions. Even the most die-hard fans are starting to turn away from him. This is just getting out of hand.
But don’t lose hope, all you non-beliebers. We might be rid of him yet. How? By going straight to the top. On the White House website, anyone can create a petition. If that petition gets 100,000 signatures within a month, then the President will take a look at it. On January 23rd, someone made use of this and created a petition to deport the Biebs:
“We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture. We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing, Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked. He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nations youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society.”
It’s just a pipe dream, right? Something you see online and laugh about. But there’s no way we could get 100,000 signatures in a month.
The petition is just over 250,000.
That’s right. We’ve exceeded the goal by far, and it’s only halfway through the allotted time. This petition will be turning some heads with those numbers. Of course, it probably won’t warrant action by the President of the United States, but it’s a huge insult to Bieber. And he’s certainly earned it, between the spitting on fans, getting busted for cocaine, believing he’s above the law, and over all being a terrible human being. For now, it doesn’t look like he’s going to be deported (Canada doesn’t want him either), but I have hope. Never say never!
