1. Don’t forget to stay healthy, it’s midterms. While this may seem mundane, it’s important. To keep a healthy mind, one must keep a healthy body as well. And no one wants to be sick and write papers or take tests.
2. If you have a vehicle, now is the time to get ready for winter. I know, it stinks to hear that, but better now than after four feet of snow drops. Make sure you have a shovel and proper weather clothes for your car.
3. Be wary of what you wear on Halloween. Lots of people take photos; you don’t want to be that guy who looks like a fool. Facebook is forever, even when deleted.
4. Start thinking about end of term. I know, something else you don’t want to hear, but it’s time to start outlining projects, or at least solidifying an idea.
5. Have fun and relax. As much as you should study and get everything completed, don’t run yourself down. Take a little time to watch a movie, 19 Days of Halloween is almost started.
BONUS TIP: Wear layers to class. Some of the rooms are still air conditioned. Yes, I know, but it’s true. As much as it might be a hassle to carry it all, it’ll keep you warm. Being too cold can get you sick!
