1. Don’t skip advising day! The college takes a whole day to let you talk with your professors. Make sure that you print out your DARS. If you can’t make it to your scheduled advising day, talk to your advisor.
2. Remember final projects. I know, I’ve been saying it for a while, but really, look at the calendar. With almost a week off for Thanksgiving, no classes for advising, and no class on Veteran’s Day, the rest of the semester will go by quickly.
3. Winterize your vehicle. Again, it’s painful to hear. But sooner or later, the white stuff will fall from the sky. Do you really want to be the one digging their car out with a bowl or begging strangers to borrow their shovel?
4. Exercise! This might be painful as well, but when the end of the semester rolls up there’s so much that can weigh us down. And a way to work off all that Halloween candy and get ready for Thanksgiving is to work out. It’ll also help relieve some stress built up from classes!
5. Speaking of eating, watch those Flex Dollars! It can be tempting to blow through them or not use them at all. But they won’t be there at the end of the semester! If you’ve got a lot of extra dollars on your Mustang Card, find a friend and treat them to dinner.
