The Dodgers ended up dominating the Yankees in the 2024 world series, winning the series in five games. This year it was more of a series against the Blue Jays; the series went seven games.

The Dodgers winning back-to-back World Series for the first time in twenty-five years was cool, but the MLB needs to fix the money issue. The two teams competing were in big markets and were worth a combined $605 million.
That is a problem; we should not have two teams worth that much money. It makes it hard for other teams in the league to compete.
My Fix to the money problem in the MLB is simple. The NFL and NHL have salary caps for teams. The NBA has luxury tax and aprons if teams exceed what they can spend. I think the MLB needs to look at the other major sports and say we need to do this. They need to do it because it would make the MLB a much more competitive and watchable product.
